A space of infinite capacity that fictional characters, particularly in cartoons, use to store large and awkward objects, pulling them out from behind their backs when they are required.
In video games hammerspace can be arbitrarily limited for game balancing purposes, but it is still usually not explained where characters are storing their exceedingly large inventories.
