Demi Moore

Demi Moore (born November 11, 1962) is an American actress who is best known internationally for her role in the 1990 film Ghost. She became the highest paid actress in Hollywood during the early 1990s because of the success of Ghost. After dropping out of school at age 16 to pursue her acting career, Moore eventually made her film debut with a small supporting role in the 1981 deaf-teen drama Choices, followed by joing in Parasite (1982) and the ABC soap opera General Hospital from 1982 to 1983. She went on to establish her career in films by taking on such films as St. Elmo's Fire (1985), and Ghost (1990), A Few Good Men (1992), Indecent Proposal (1993), Disclosure (1994) and Striptease (1996).

Born as Demi Gene Guynes, Moore took her professional name from her first husband, musician Freddy Moore. She married to her second husband, actor Bruce Willis, in 1987 and together they had three daughters. In 2005, she married her third husband, actor Ashton Kutcher,and separated from him in 2011.

In August 1991, Moore made news by appearing nude while seven months pregnant on the cover of Vanity Fair under the title More Demi Moore. The cover sparked an intense controversy for Vanity Fair and Moore. It was widely discussed on television, radio, and in newspaper articles.

Demi Moore was hospitalized in January 2012 after smoking an unidentified substance.
