Dark Shadows

Dark Shadows is one of the most recent movies directed by tim Buron, dating back to 2012. Its source of inspiration comes from the TV Show of the 60's, whose main character, Barnabas Collins is a vampire.

This movie only focuses on Barnabas Collins' personnal story, from his past life in the 18th Century to his sudden and unexpected arrival in the 1970's.

Eventhough full of funny scenes and great actors as the usual Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, this movie is far from being Tim Burton's best as the script has suffered from critiques' negative comments. The movie as a whole does not bring antyhing new to Tim Burton's work that has once again been criticized for choosing success over art.
