He is feared by both gods and mortals as one of his arrows shot in the heart induces instant feelings of love towards whomever the victim happens to be looking at. Son of King Priam of Troy, he was prophesied to bring about the fall of Troy. His father left him on a hillside as a baby, but he was resuced and raised by farmers. He was given the golden apple and told to choose which goddess, Hera, Athena or Aphrodite, was the fairest. Hera offered vast kingdoms to rule. Athena offered wisdom and shill in battle. Aphrodite offered the love of the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen, Queen of Sparta. Paris chose to give the golden apple to Aphrodite wanting Helen for himself. The myths vary on wether Helen left willingly or was taken forcefully. Since Helen was already married her husband called upon his Greek allies, and laid siege to Troy, beginning the Trojian War. His greatest deed in the Trojian War was killing Achillies with an arrow through the heel. He did not survive the Trojian War, dying of wounds before the sack of Troy.
